W Dallas Victory Hotel & Residences was built in the heart of the city, in what is known as the 72-acre upscale master-planned district of Victory Park. The district’s initial development was led by two distinct structures–American Airlines Center and the W Dallas Victory Hotel & Residences, which acted as a catalyst for the future development of over $2 billion/1 million SF of commercial in the immediate area.  Developed by Gatehouse Capital Corporation, the $250 million project opened in August 2006 with 252 guestrooms, 143 for-sale residences, 10,000 SF of meeting space, a 5,000 SF Bliss Spa, 15,000 SF outdoor pool and fitness center with sweeping views of downtown Dallas.

The property was the first W Hotel in Texas, and the first W to combine both guestrooms and for-sale residences in the country.  The Project received the following awards:
